I’m suspicious of people who don’t read newspapers. How do they find out about the important events in their neighborhoods or cities? The community billboard is basically gone, although if you can find one the ratio of gold to garbage is really good. This newspaper was a gift from Moe after her trip to the Olympic Peninsula, and featured the names of every high school and community college graduate in the region, and the scholarships they won. There were ads from the families or friends offering congratulations and some secret messages like a high school yearbook. Tons of ads for services that I can’t imagine I’ll ever need, and this scene report from the parade, the frog jumping contest, and the demolition derby. Watch out for Andrew, and definitely buy Kaidence a beer when you run into her.
